Pet Guardianship Program Looking for a cuddly companion to add to your household? If you are looking for an adult Maine Coon cat, Savvy Cats is now offering the opportunity to become a Maine Coon Guardian. What is a Pet Guardian? A Pet Guardian or Guardian Family accepts an adult Maine Coon cat as their household pet. They can fully adopt the cat upon retirement from the Savvy Cats breeding program. In the meantime, Savvy Cats will retain ownership and breeding rights while providing food and veterinary care. The Pet Guardian will transport their Maine Coon to the cattery for breeding and birthing. Once the kittens are fully weaned, they will pick the cat up when it’s ready to return to the household. How Can I Become A Pet Guardian? Interested in becoming a Pet Guardian? You will need to fill out the attached application.
